Sourdough Strata

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups sourdough bread, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1 cup cooked vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, peppers, etc.)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Grease a baking dish and layer the bread cubes, cheese, and vegetables.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the bread and let it sit for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the mixture is set.
