Sourdough French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Butter for frying
  • Syrup, fresh fruit, or powdered sugar for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  2. Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, coating both sides.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the bread slices for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  5. Serve with your favorite toppings.
