Sourdough Croutons

Ingredients:

  • Leftover sourdough bread, cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (e.g., thyme, rosemary, or oregano)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the cubes evenly on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes, tossing halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  5. Use as a topping for soups or salads.
