Sourdough Bread Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups sourdough bread, cubed
  • 2 cups milk or cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: raisins, chocolate chips, or nuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a baking dish and place the bread cubes inside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the mixture over the bread, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  5. Let sit for 10 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the liquid.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the custard is set.
